Cultural History

The central text of the issue is a discussion of German historian Jürgen Osterhammel's work "The Transformation of the World: A Global History of the Nineteenth Century," which was recently translated into Russian. Of particular importance is the section "Comrade Kolonitsky: On the Anniversary of a Revolutionary Historian," in which Boris Kolonitsky's colleagues discuss his contribution to the study of revolutionary history, and his disciples publish interviews with the professor.
